Farm Camp at Miles Smith Farm
I am overjoyed to share my farm with your child!!
Fifty years ago, Mom and Dad would send the kids to spend the week on Grandma and Grandpa’s farm because they knew the exposure to the land, animals, and the food produced would enrich their lives.
To recreate this idyllic experience, I am eager to share my farm with your child (ages 8-14) at Farm Camp! It will be a chance to swap out stress-inducing screen time for the comforting rituals and daily rhythms of a working farm.
Campers will fully immerse themselves in farm life – feeding calves, riding a horse and a cow, playing with the goats, a donkey, a lamb, and the mini-pig! Once again campers will be given a calf to train, groom and show at the Cow Show on Friday.
Farm Camp is a program of the Learning Networks Foundation, the non-profit sister organization of Miles Smith Farm.
